Noëll “Little Fire” (11), has autism, and isn’t the easiest person to connect with others. Finding it difficult to fit in, Noëll is assigned the tough ‘motor buddy’ Gerrit, and they set off on a journey together. The destination doesn’t matter. Sitting at the back of the motorcycle, Noëll feels free, escaping from the demanding world outside. This is incredibly comforting yet also nerve-wracking for Noëll, because he doesn’t want to change who he is.

Through a road trip filled with observational and dreamy scenes, we witness how, through ups and downs, they learn to trust each other and dare to be themselves.
