‘The Sea Reminds Me’ follows Mark, a man unable to come to terms with his father’s death – he is, quite literally, all at sea. Driven by a longing for real touch and connection, Mark returns to a Welsh seaside town filled with childhood memories. A visit to a favorite holiday pub brings him closer to his father than he ever could have imagined, and he is soon drawn, almost magically, to the sea itself, where a deeper kind of treasure awaits. Mark’s journey moves through landscape, imagination, and memory, taking us to a place where real and imagined worlds exist side by side – and reminding us that sometimes we must travel through both to find our way through crisis.
