“Sparkle”, made through Carousel by Matthew Hellett, charts his transformation into glamorous alternative persona, the drag queen Mrs. Sparkle. It won short Best Documentary at the ‘Picture This Film Festival’ in Canada. Carousel is an award winning learning disability led arts organization. Founded in 1982 Carousel works to promote the active involvement of people with a learning disability in the arts, teaching new artistic skills and developing existing talents.
