Clark, a young man with Down syndrome, seeks to understand his own difference through his obsessive fascination with Sasquatch and Superman.
This short documentary explores the ‘difference’ of Down syndrome. When Clark Kerns was born twenty-five years before the film was made, the doctor told his parents that the baby could be institutionalized, and they would never have to see him again. Through interviews, the film explores this young man’s fascination with two eternal outsiders, Sasquatch and Superman. Ultimately, this film is a celebration of the difference that Clark seeks to understand through his narrative obsessions.
