James Colburn was born with Fragile X Syndrome. At 26, he is a child at heart who finds joy in the smallest things and uses his gift of comedic timing to inspire those around him.
Even though James’s disability is serious, it is impossible not to laugh around him. He has impeccable comedic timing, often without meaning it, and those who love him have learned it is okay to laugh at the things James says and does. It is unfortunate such a bright mind is hidden beneath this syndrome, but his family has decided to embrace the situation and be grateful for who James is, not who he could have been.
