Martin is severely brain damaged due to a car accident, and can no longer move or speak. Martin used to live life in the fast lane. Now he’s working as a ghost.
He communicates through a computer he handles with his left thumb. He lives in a nursing home and is 100% dependent on help 24 hours a day. But he does not get the help he needs, so most of his time he spends alone – waiting. All of his friends have gradually stopped coming to visit, and the only people that do come are his parents, and social worker Bente, who seems to have her own agenda with Martin.
