The House tells the story of a group of women as they explore their own lives and memories through drawings and animations the director created from their artwork.
It highlights aspects of their everyday lives, their dreams and aspirations and who they are. In association with West Lambeth Community Care Trust, the film developed from art workshops in their supported house, working with the women over a period of time, between 1996-2000.
We follow Topsy and Dave as they grasp the idea of marriage, what it means to them and how things will change.
