Simon’s brother Mark suffers from Fragile X Syndrome. Simon believes his failure to lead a normal adolescent life is solely down to his brothers disability.

Bro tells the story of frustrated teenager Simon who spends most of his time caring for his brother Mark, who suffers from Fragile X Syndrome. New to town, Simon shows affection towards a local girl and is desperate to find a way into her world. However, he is fearful if she or her friends find out about his brother they will judge him the same way others have in the past.
