Two young rowers with intellectual disabilities thrive on the companionship and routine that comes with being part of a team. Luke is an exuberant athlete who rows on his high-school team and seeks acceptance from his peers. Ben, a socially-conscious student, is about to graduate from the familiar world of high school. These athletes row for different reasons, but both find it helps them challenge everyday stigma. When offered the chance to compete in the world’s largest high school regatta, Luke trains to win a championship that represents acceptance as a true competitor. But, as graduation approaches, Ben faces seemingly insurmountable obstacles as he navigates toward adulthood.
