A Crack in Everything

DIRECTED BY MARTIN O’DONOGHUE
21 MIN / NARRATIVE / 2014 / IRELAND

SYNOPSIS

Maeve and Billy are separated by the Belfast peace lines. The spark of love has been ignited.
But the physical barriers, and a reluctance to allow the relationship blossom keep them in their own communities. Maeve uses a ball as her love-token, passing gentle kisses to Billy over the wall, much to the angst of Billy’s brother Ian and Maeve’s father John.
As resistance to their relationship grows, she takes matters into her own hands, risking life and limb to overcome barriers to get to her true love.
